सेट परीक्षा राजस्थान/स्टेट एलिजिबिलिटी टेस्ट (सेट)
सहायक प्राध्यापक की नौकरी के लिए अनिवार्य है। इस परीक्षा को पास करने के बाद सीधे तौर पर सहायक प्राध्यापक पद के लिए आवेदन किया जा सकता है।English में State Eligibility Test(स्टेट एलिगिबिलिटी टेस्ट) और हिंदी में राज्य पात्रता परीक्षा होता है. स्टेट एलिजिबिलिटी टेस्ट (सेट) सहायक प्राध्यापक की नौकरी के लिए अनिवार्य है। इस परीक्षा को पास करने के बाद सीधे तौर पर सहायक प्राध्यापक पद के लिए आवेदन किया जा सकता है। यदि यह नहीं हो तो पीएचडी व एमफिल की डिग्री होना जरूरी है। राज्य स्तरीय पात्रता परीक्षा (SLET), जिसे राज्य पात्रता परीक्षा (SET) के रूप में भी जाना जाता है, एक राज्य स्तरीय परीक्षा है। यह पैन-इंडिया आयोजित किया जाता है। परीक्षा उन लोगों के लिए है जो किसी विश्वविद्यालय या कॉलेज में लेक्चरर बनने की इच्छा रखते हैं । शिक्षा क्षेत्र में व्याख्याता के पद के लिए पात्र होने के लिए परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण होना चाहिए।
NET (National Eligibility Test) सहायक प्रोफेसर और जूनियर रिसर्च फेलोशिप के पद के लिए राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर आयोजित की जाती है। NET के तहत परीक्षा उन उम्मीदवारों के लिए आयोजित की जाती है जिन्होंने विज्ञान और मानविकी की धारा में स्नातकोत्तर पूरा कर लिया है। SET का मतलब स्टेट एलिजिबिलिटी टेस्ट है और यह JRF और लेक्चरर के समान पदों के लिए आयोजित किया जाता है लेकिन राज्य स्तर पर।
दोनों परीक्षाएं समान उद्देश्यों के लिए आयोजित की जाती हैं लेकिन कुछ कारक हैं जो NET और SET को एक दूसरे से अलग करते हैं।
NTA NET V/s SET की पात्रता
JRF के लिए UGC NET के तहत आयु सीमा 31 वर्ष से कम है जबकि CSIR NET के लिए 28 वर्ष है।
UGC/CSIR NET में सहायक प्रोफेसर के लिए कोई आयु सीमा नहीं है।
SET परीक्षा के लिए आवेदन करने की कोई आयु सीमा नहीं है।
UGC NET / CSIR NET: सामान्य उम्मीदवारों के लिए मास्टर डिग्री में 55% अंक और ST / SC/ PWD / OBC/ ट्रांसजेंडर के लिए 50% अंक)।
जिन उम्मीदवारों ने यूजीसी द्वारा अनुमोदित विश्वविद्यालय से अपनी मास्टर डिग्री में कम से कम 55% अंक प्राप्त किए हैं

राजस्थान सेट परीक्षा पैटर्न
उम्मीदवार प्रश्न पत्र की पूरी संरचना जान सकेंगे। परीक्षा पैटर्न विवरण नीचे उल्लिखित है। पेपर I सामान्य प्रकृति का होगा, जिसका उद्देश्य आवेदकों की शिक्षण / शोध योग्यता का मूल्यांकन करना है। इसे मुख्य रूप से आवेदक की तार्किक क्षमता, समझ, अलग सोच और सामान्य जागरूकता का परीक्षण करने के लिए तैयार किया जाना है। पेपर- II और III में उम्मीदवार द्वारा चुने गए विषय पर आधारित वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकार के प्रश्न शामिल हैं।
छात्रों के लिए राज्य स्तरीय परीक्षा के टिप्स
जल्दी तैयारी शुरू करें: अपने राज्य स्तर की परीक्षा के लिए पढ़ाई शुरू करने के लिए आखिरी मिनट तक इंतजार न करें। जितनी जल्दी आप शुरू करेंगे, उतना ही अधिक समय आपको सामग्री को आत्मसात करने और अपने कौशल का अभ्यास करने के लिए देना होगा। परीक्षा के प्रारूप को समझें: सुनिश्चित करें कि आप परीक्षा के प्रारूप को समझते हैं, जिसमें पूछे जाने वाले प्रश्नों के प्रकार और प्रत्येक अनुभाग की समय सीमा शामिल है। एक अध्ययन कार्यक्रम बनाएं: अपने अध्ययन को प्रबंधनीय हिस्सों में विभाजित करें, और एक ऐसा कार्यक्रम बनाएं जो आपकी आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप हो। प्रत्येक विषय और अभ्यास परीक्षा के लिए पर्याप्त समय आवंटित करना सुनिश्चित करें। व्यवस्थित रहें: महत्वपूर्ण तिथियों, समय-सीमा, और किसी भी सामग्री या संसाधनों का ध्यान रखें जिनकी आपको अध्ययन करने की आवश्यकता होगी। पिछले प्रश्नपत्रों के साथ अभ्यास करें: पूछे जाने वाले प्रश्नों के प्रकार और परीक्षा के प्रारूप को समझने के लिए पिछले प्रश्नपत्रों के साथ अभ्यास करें। सकारात्मक रहें और प्रेरित रहें: सकारात्मक रहें और प्रेरित रहें। अपने लक्ष्यों पर केंद्रित रहें और खुद को याद दिलाएं कि आप परीक्षा क्यों दे रहे हैं। पर्याप्त नींद लें और स्वस्थ भोजन करें: सुनिश्चित करें कि आप पर्याप्त नींद ले रहे हैं और स्वस्थ भोजन खा रहे हैं ताकि आपका मस्तिष्क सबसे अच्छी तरह से काम कर सके।
CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY: –
(i) General/Unreserved/General-EWS candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in a Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC are eligible for this Test. The Other Backward Classes (OBC) belonging to Non-Creamy Layer/ Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Persons with Disability (PWD)/ Third gender category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.
(ii) Candidates who are pursuing their Master’s degree or equivalent course or candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for award of eligibility only after they have passed their Master’s Degree or equivalent examination with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PWD/ Third gender category candidates). Such candidates must complete their Master’s degree or equivalent examination within two years from the date of SET result with the required percentage of marks, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.
(iii) Candidates belonging to the Third gender category are eligible to draw the same relaxation in fee and Eligibility Criteria for SET as are available to SC/ST/PWD categories. The subject-wise qualifying cut-offs for this category would be the lowest among those for SC/ST/PWD/OBC- NCL / General-EWS categories in the corresponding subject.
(iv) Candidates are required to appear in the subject of their post-graduation only. In case the subject of a candidate is not included in the list of SET subjects, the candidate may appear in UGC NET/UGC-CSIR NET, which is held twice a year.
SCHEME OF TEST: –
Pattern of Examination
The Test will consist of two papers. Both papers will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions.
There will be no break between papers.
VALIDITY: –
The SET certificate is valid for that particular State only and forever. Recruitment to the post of lecturer/ Assistant Professor may be made from among the SET-qualified candidates by universities/ colleges/ Recruitment Agencies as per their prescribed procedures Rules & Regulations
Marking Scheme: –
1. Each question carries 02 (two) marks.
2. For each correct response, a candidate will get 02 (two) marks.
3. There is no negative marking for incorrect responses.
4. No marks will be given for questions unanswered/un-attempted.
5. To answer a question, the candidate needs to choose one option as the correct option. If a question is found to be incorrect/ambiguous or has multiple correct answers, only those candidates who have attempted the question and chosen one of the correct answers would be given the Credit.
6. If a question is found to be incorrect and the Question is dropped, then two marks (+2) will be awarded to all those who have appeared in the Exam. The reason could be due to human error or technical error.
AGE LIMIT: –
There is no upper age limit.
EXAMINATION FEE: –
a) For General/SBC/OBC (Creamy layer) of Rajasthan state and /Out of State: Rs. 1500/-
b) For EWS/SBC/OBC (Non-Creamy layer) of Rajasthan state Candidates: Rs. 1200/-
c) For SC/ST of Rajasthan state and All the PH Candidates: Rs. 750/-

According to the instructions issued by the University Grants Commission, the eligibility test for the post of Assistant Professor in universities and colleges, the syllabus, qualification, and all the instructions will be according to the instructions prescribed for the National Eligibility Test, in compliance with the eligibility in the State Eligibility Test (SET 2023). Process, the syllabus will remain the same.
